Beckchoice’s Freight Forwarding Christmas Card Competition

Beckchoice’s Freight Forwarding Christmas Card Competition

Good News...

This Christmas, Beckchoice, a UK-based freight forwarding company, hosted a festive art competition that brought a unique twist to the holiday season—combining creativity with the world of freight forwarding.

Beckchoice invited students from a local primary school to take part in designing Christmas cards featuring various freight transport vehicles. The students were given outlines of trucks, ships, planes, and other modes of transport to colour in, with complete freedom to add their own creative flair. Four winning designs were selected to feature on Beckchoice’s official Christmas cards for the season.

While the competition allowed the students to showcase their artistic talents, it also provided an opportunity for Beckchoice to introduce them to the role of freight forwarding. Through the competition, the children learned how logistics and transport networks help move goods around the world—something that many may not have considered before. The aim was not only to inspire their creativity but also to spark curiosity about the logistics industry and the potential career opportunities it offers.

The response to the competition was fantastic, with 118 wonderful entries submitted. After careful deliberation, four winning entries were selected, and the young artists received exciting prizes, including a £50 Smyths Toy Store voucher, a gift bag filled with festive treats, and a certificate of achievement. The winners were delighted to see their artwork featured on the Beckchoice Christmas cards, which will be sent out to customers throughout the festive season.

As a thank-you to all the students for their participation, Beckchoice also gifted 400 Christmas crackers for the children to enjoy during the school's festive lunch, spreading even more holiday cheer!

Ray Palmer, Managing Director of Beckchoice, commented: “This competition was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the local community and introduce young people to the world of freight forwarding. It was inspiring to see how the students embraced the challenge, and their artwork brought the Christmas spirit to life in such a creative way. We hope this experience sparked an interest in the logistics industry and showed the students the importance of global trade and transportation.”

Beckchoice would like to extend its thanks to the students and staff for making this festive initiative a success. The competition was a wonderful reminder of the importance of community engagement and the role of creativity in education.
