Marinair Manages FCL Vehicle Export From Greece to Egypt

We are pleased to highlight a recent specialized sea freight operation successfully coordinated by our member Marinair Cargo Services, involving the FCL export of a vehicle from Greece to Egypt.

Special cargo operations go far beyond the physical movement of a container. They require precise control of risk management, documentation, compliance, deadlines, and accountability at every stage of the logistics process. This project was no exception.

The Marinair Seafreight team managed the operation end-to-end, ensuring full operational control and seamless coordination throughout the shipment lifecycle. The scope of work included:

• VGM submission and documentation alignment under strict cut-off deadlines
• Close follow-up on customs and carrier requirements
• Coordination of physical inspection procedures and seal replacement
• Storage, insurance, and weighing coordination when required

Executed during a peak period with tight timelines, the project demanded calm execution, attention to detail, and constant communication. Thanks to careful planning and proactive coordination, the shipment was completed smoothly and in full compliance with all regulatory and carrier requirements.
